Peshawar: (RightNow) The Peshawar Education Board has announced the results of the annual matric exams. A total of 97,950 students appeared for the 9th grade, while 66,988 out of 95,496 students passed the 10th grade.

Secretary of Education Muhammad Khalid stated that this year’s results are better than previous years, and the hard work of students will brighten the country’s future. He also assured full support for educational reforms.

Muhammad Khalid further mentioned efforts to enhance students’ creativity with teachers’ help. He expressed commitment to resolving issues with the new cluster system and its benefits.

Board Chairman Khuda Bakhsh said measures are being taken to eliminate cheating. There are plans to computerize the system next year to ensure transparency.

It is noteworthy that the board has awarded prizes to position holders. Mahmood Ayaz secured the first position in special education, while Abu Zazz achieved first in the humanitarian group.
