Lisbon: (RightNow) Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new financial milestone. According to Forbes, Ronaldo’s assets have reached $1.2 billion, placing him among the wealthiest athletes.

Ronaldo’s annual income last year was $300 million. This means his wealth increased by $570 every minute, equivalent to over 158,000 Pakistani rupees.

Forbes reports that Ronaldo’s income significantly increased after signing with Saudi club Al-Nassr. The contract was renewed in 2025, under which he earns over $200 million annually.

Ronaldo’s earnings are not limited to football. Sponsorship deals, business investments, and social media platforms also contribute to his wealth.

It is noteworthy that Portugal failed to win the recent FIFA World Cup. However, Ronaldo has not yet announced his retirement from international football.
