Karachi: (RightNow) Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has revoked South Air’s commercial flight permits at private airfields. Operations at Talhar and Jozak airfields have been suspended.

According to CAA, a letter has been issued to South Air’s CEO Nishat Fatima. The letter states that commercial flights are not allowed at private airfields.

The authority has halted commercial flights at Talhar and Jozak airfields, warning of strict action for violations. It further stated that no operations can be conducted without a charter license.

This decision is significant as it enforces a ban due to violations of civil aviation laws. It also sends a message to other airlines to comply with regulations.

It is noteworthy that South Air has previously received warnings for various violations. The authority has now announced more stringent measures.
