Karachi: (RightNow) Two individuals were seriously injured in a shooting near Razzaqabad Training Center in Shah Latif Town. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery targeting dairy traders.

Rescue officials report that the injured were immediately taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment. The victims have been identified as 35-year-old Ghani Bux and 50-year-old Zardari.

According to police, both individuals were dairy traders carrying 2.1 million rupees from a milk shop. Two armed assailants stopped them, stole the money at gunpoint, and fired shots when they resisted.

Police officials stated that one trader was shot in the chest and the other in the abdomen. The assailants fled the scene, and an investigation is underway.

It is important to note that such robbery incidents are increasing in Karachi, causing fear among residents. Police have obtained CCTV footage to identify and arrest the suspects.
