Seville: (RightNow) Spain’s football team received a unique reward after winning the World Cup. Two Spanish footballers were awarded tomatoes equal to their body weight, capturing everyone’s attention.

Spain won the World Cup on July 19, and celebrations of the players’ achievements continue. The city of Seville honored local heroes Fabian Ruiz and Gavi in an unusual manner.

Both midfielders received a unique prize at the ceremony. First, their weights were measured, and then they were given tomatoes equivalent to their weight as a gift.

Fabian Ruiz weighed 85 kilograms and received 85 kilograms of tomatoes, while Gavi received 68.5 kilograms of tomatoes. The ceremony took place at the city’s town hall.
