Sajid Amiri hails from Gilgit-Baltistan and graduated from the National College of Fine Arts in Lahore. He layers the mesh to craft intricate images.
Amiri’s artworks are displayed in major hotels and art galleries across Pakistan. Many of his masterpieces are sent abroad, and social media has introduced his art to a global audience.
He claims to be the only artist in Pakistan practicing this art form, although similar artists exist in South Korea and Italy. He aims to inspire young people to pursue this craft.
