Doha: (RightNow) Qatar confirms ongoing talks and communication between Iran and the US. The mediation aims to reach a viable solution for both nations.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry Director, Ibrahim bin Sultan Al-Hashmi, states that all parties’ concerns will be considered in the talks. He emphasizes the importance of regional security in the negotiation process.
Qatar supports the Mecca Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan. A Qatari official mentions the agreement’s crucial role in safeguarding regional resources.
The official further states that every possible step will be supported for the sovereignty of regional countries. Strengthening regional cooperation is deemed essential.
It is noteworthy that the Mecca Defense Agreement was established to maintain regional stability, and Qatar is a strong supporter.
