Lahore: (RightNow) Significant progress has been made in the alleged assault case involving a foreign woman. The victim, Diana, has recorded her statement under Section 164 in court.

According to court records, the investigating officer presented the foreign woman in court. Diana informed the court that she wished to record her statement voluntarily.

The court was assured that Diana was giving her statement without any pressure. Diana stated that she came to Pakistan from Istanbul and met Nimra and Muskan in Lahore.

According to Diana’s statement, she was allegedly assaulted in an apartment in Bahria Town. Later, she was threatened in a car, and her bag was not returned.

It is noteworthy that Ali Azeel has been arrested from Bahawalpur. Police have already detained Mohsin, and the search for a third suspect continues.
