Lahore: (RightNow) An alleged assault on a foreign woman occurred in Lahore’s Defense area. Police have initiated action based on the woman’s statement.

The woman stated she traveled from Islamabad to Faisalabad and then to Lahore. During a meeting in Lahore, some individuals allegedly forced her to consume a drugged drink and assaulted her.

According to police, suspects Mohsin and Ali have been arrested based on the victim’s statement. Further investigations are ongoing, and raids are being conducted to arrest the third suspect, Tanveer.

This incident poses a threat to social peace and raises concerns about women’s safety. The swift police action has somewhat restored public confidence.
