Islamabad: (RightNow) An anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi and eight PTI leaders. Four PTI workers have been sent to Adiala Jail in connection with the February 15 protest on Constitution Avenue.

In the Ramna police station case, new warrants have been issued for CM Suhail Afridi, Meena Khan Afridi, Shahid Khattak, and Shafi Jan. The court has directed the SHO of Ramna police station to arrest the accused and present them in court.

Special Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for eight PTI MNAs and MPAs in another case from Margalla police station. This includes Shahid Khattak, Meena Khan Afridi, and others.

The court has approved the police’s request to send the arrested workers to judicial remand for an identification parade related to the February 15 protest. The arrested workers were presented before Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain.

It is important to note that PTI workers are accused of attacking police and damaging public property during the protest. Further legal proceedings are ongoing.
