A fire at Lahore General Hospital was quickly contained, with 70 evacuated safely.

Lahore: (RightNow) A fire broke out in the gynecology ward of Lahore General Hospital, filling the area with smoke and affecting a guard’s health. The fire was caused by a short circuit and was quickly contained.

As a result of the fire, 70 individuals, including pregnant women, were safely evacuated from the hospital.

According to the administration, the guard is receiving treatment in the emergency department and is now stable.

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari stated that the fire was swiftly controlled and no one was harmed.

It is noteworthy that, under the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab, fire alert systems are fully operational in government hospitals.
