Tehran: (RightNow) Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Deputy Commander Major General Mostafa Izadi claims over 200 enemy aircraft were downed during the conflict. He made this statement while addressing a ceremony in Tehran.

Major General Izadi stated that due to the resistance and defensive actions of the Iranian nation, the number of downed enemy aircraft has exceeded 200. He mentioned that Iran inflicted heavy losses on the enemy despite low war expenses.

Izadi described the ongoing conflict with the US and Israel as hybrid warfare rather than traditional warfare. He noted that enemy countries have attempted to destabilize Iran while exerting military pressure.

He further added that the enemy’s strategy includes psychological and informational fronts, but Iran is successfully countering these pressures. The Iranian commander stated that Iran’s political system has strengthened and the country remains united.

It is noteworthy that Iran has previously claimed to have downed enemy aircraft, but these claims have not been verified. Meanwhile, President Trump claimed that US weapons were used minimally in the conflict with Iran.
