Indianapolis: (RightNow) In Indiana, Sikhs have declared Shimla as the capital of Khalistan during a referendum. Gurpatwant Singh Pannun referred to Shimla as the center of the ‘Democratic Republic of Khalistan.’

During the Khalistan Punjab Freedom Referendum, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun addressed via video link. He released a map of Khalistan, stating that Sikhs for Justice are committed to a peaceful and democratic process for establishing Khalistan.

He accused New Delhi of waging a three-pronged war against Punjab. According to him, this war involves drugs, debts, and demographic changes.

Pannun claimed that drugs are destroying Punjab’s youth. He also mentioned the suicides of Sikh farmers due to agricultural debts.

It is noteworthy that the next phase of the Khalistan referendum will take place in Alberta, Canada, on October 18. Pannun also paid tribute to the deceased during the event.
