Darwin: (RightNow) Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has completed 300 Test wickets against Bangladesh in the Darwin Test. He also claimed five wickets in an innings for the 14th time in his career.

Hazlewood becomes the ninth Australian bowler to reach this milestone. He joins current players Nathan Lyon, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc in the 300 Test wickets club.

This is the only bowling attack in Test cricket history where all four members have taken over 300 wickets. The 35-year-old Hazlewood had not played Test cricket for the past 12 months due to injury.

It is noteworthy that he was preferred over Scott Boland in the first Test against Bangladesh. He justified this trust by taking six wickets in the first innings.

Hazlewood took the wickets of Tanzid Hasan, Mominul Haque, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Hasan Mahmud, Taijul Islam, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Ebadot Hossain in the first innings against Bangladesh.
