Lahore: (RightNow) Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, leader of Sikhs for Justice, accuses India of Sikh genocide. He claims that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, atrocities against Sikhs are resurging.
Pannun revealed in a video-link press conference at Lahore Press Club that 18,000 Sikh farmers have committed suicide due to heavy debts. This situation is extremely concerning for the Sikh community.
He further announced that a referendum for Khalistan will be held in the USA on August 16. Sikhs residing in the USA and other countries will have the opportunity to vote.
Pannun congratulated Pakistanis on their Independence Day and attributed Pakistan’s progress to the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. He stated that Pakistan is playing a significant role on the global stage.
It is noteworthy that the Sikh community in India has long been struggling for the establishment of Khalistan. Sikhs residing in various countries are part of this movement.
