Islamabad: (RightNow) The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued essential guidelines regarding passport validity for Hajj 2027 applicants. Pilgrims are instructed to ensure their passports are valid until November 16, 2027. The application process for both government and private Hajj schemes will commence on August 17.

Pilgrims whose passports expire before the specified date are advised to renew them immediately. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the Hajj application process.

The ministry has directed passport offices to prioritize services for Hajj pilgrims. Immediate actions are ordered for offices nationwide and abroad to facilitate this.

The ministry appeals to pilgrims to check passport validity before applying. If the passport expires before November 16, 2027, it should be renewed promptly to avoid issues.

It is noteworthy that preparations for the Hajj operation are ongoing with coordination among all relevant institutions. Administrative measures are being taken to facilitate pilgrims.
