Europe: (RightNow) A severe heatwave is expected to hit Europe, prompting alerts in the UK and France. This warning follows record-breaking temperatures in June and July.

Reports indicate that temperatures in some areas of the UK and France may exceed 30 degrees Celsius. This will be the fifth heatwave in the UK this year.

Due to the intense heat and dry conditions, water usage restrictions have been imposed in the UK, affecting over 27 million people.

In France, the drought situation has worsened, with water usage restrictions in place across 70% of the country. These include bans on watering gardens and filling swimming pools.

It is noteworthy that due to climate change, Europe has become the fastest-warming continent. Temperature increases are also forecasted in Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary.
