Islamabad: (RightNow). Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi. The leaders discussed the Mecca Agreement and the current regional situation.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the meeting focused on efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. The foreign ministers of both countries also discussed the changing regional dynamics.

Ishaq Dar briefed Abbas Araghchi on the key points of the Mecca Agreement. This agreement, involving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, aims to strengthen regional cooperation.

The Iranian Foreign Minister thanked Ishaq Dar for the briefing on the agreement’s details. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact on matters of mutual interest.

It is noteworthy that the Mecca Agreement aims to promote peace and security in the region. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey signed this agreement on August 7.
