Istanbul: (RightNow) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated in a recent interview that the Mecca Agreement is a significant defense initiative, where an attack on one country is considered an attack on all three.

He further mentioned that there is room for other countries to join the agreement, with Egypt’s inclusion being possible. This statement was made during President Trump’s visit to Turkey.

The Turkish President also highlighted the situation in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of the U.S. role in halting the Israeli conflict. He expressed concern over the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

He stressed that all capabilities will be utilized for the stabilization of Syria. He also emphasized the importance of a joint strategy for regional peace.

It is noteworthy that the Mecca Agreement is a joint defense initiative by Gulf countries aimed at strengthening regional security.
