Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed a desire to make a deal with Iran. He stated that he does not want to harm people and negotiations are ongoing.

Trump, speaking at an event, declared that Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances. He announced that the planned attack on Iran has been canceled for now.

He further mentioned that the U.S. has lifted sanctions on 3 companies and 2 aircraft linked to Iran. This move is a step towards improving relations with Iran.

Trump also stated that the first phase of opening the Strait of Hormuz will be completed soon, with nuclear discussions to follow in the second phase.

It is noteworthy that Iran had previously stated that the expected deal with Oman has no connection to the U.S., and the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz is unlikely.
