Mumbai: (RightNow) Renowned Indian actor Om Puri’s first wife, Seema Kapoor, has revealed in a recent interview that her husband had an affair with a housemaid. According to her, Om Puri disclosed this a day before their wedding.

Seema Kapoor stated that Om Puri’s revelation shocked her, but since the wedding preparations were complete, she went ahead with the marriage. Later, their relationship became strained, and Om Puri grew closer to Nandita Puri.

She claims that at the end of their marriage, she lost her child due to mental stress. According to her, Om Puri did not provide emotional support during this difficult time.

It is noteworthy that Om Puri and Seema Kapoor married in 1990, but the marriage ended a few years later. Om Puri married Nandita Puri in 1993, and they have a son.

Om Puri passed away in 2017 at the age of 66 due to a heart attack. There has been no new response from Om Puri or Nandita Puri regarding Seema Kapoor’s claims.
