In an interview with Wisden, Mohammad Amir said that bowling against Virat Kohli has always been a challenge. Kohli’s ability to finish matches sets him apart from other batters.

Amir further mentioned that Virat Kohli consistently delivers his best performance in major matches. This trait places him among the great batters of modern cricket.

Amir also acknowledged former Australian captains Ricky Ponting and Shane Watson as tough opponents but ranked Kohli as the top among current players.
