Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced a rally at Governor House Lahore at 8 PM tomorrow after being denied permission for a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan. The decision was made following the refusal to hold the event at Minar-e-Pakistan.

In Lahore, after PPP was denied permission to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, PHA and Punjab Police officials began removing party equipment from the venue. Officials dismantled the stage, chairs, and lights set up for the event.

Authorities have started evacuating citizens from inside Minar-e-Pakistan. All gates of Minar-e-Pakistan have been closed to the public as a safety measure.

PPP supporters have arrived at Minar-e-Pakistan to offer arrests. They state they will continue to support their leaders wholeheartedly.

It is noteworthy that the PPP rally was initially planned at Minar-e-Pakistan, but the administration did not grant permission. Despite this, the party announced the rally would proceed.
