A giant dragon from ‘House of the Dragon’ amazes Glasgow at the Commonwealth Games opening.
Glasgow: (RightNow) A giant dragon flying over Glasgow skies astonished residents. The dragon, Syrax, from the famous fantasy series ‘House of the Dragon,’ became the center of attention.
This 8-meter-long dragon flew over the River Clyde and other locations. The model was crafted by 14 experts in 3 thousand hours.
The dragon’s 23 movable parts and advanced propulsion system enabled its realistic flight. It is made of carbon fiber, aluminum, and foam.
Organizers stated it is the world’s largest flying dragon model, presented as a blend of sports and modern technology.
It is noteworthy that the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony will start on July 23 and be broadcast in the UK and Ireland.
