Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat to teach in schools weekly to improve educational standards.
Lahore: (RightNow) On the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced he will teach in schools. He stated he will visit a school weekly to conduct classes himself.
Rana Sikandar Hayat, in a video message, said he will start teaching English and Chemistry. He plans to teach English in primary schools and Chemistry in high schools. He also hinted at teaching other subjects.
The Education Minister further stated that he will begin teaching in the first week of September. He will visit schools without prior notice to assess real issues.
He clarified that the aim of this initiative is to improve educational standards. Direct assessments will help address teaching weaknesses. Interaction with teachers will aid educational reforms.
It is noteworthy that Rana Sikandar Hayat emphasized solving issues on-site rather than through paperwork. This will accelerate the campaign to enhance the quality of government schools.
