Islamabad: (RightNow) The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has rejected claims of a 45% decrease in CSS candidates.

FPSC states that recent news regarding CSS is not based on facts, and the perception that Pakistani youth are losing interest in civil service is incorrect.

The commission clarified that the 2022 data was misrepresented, and the number of candidates for the CSS screening test was overlooked in the report.

FPSC reported that under the special CSS 2023, 141 candidates were given the opportunity to join the civil service, which remains a dream for the youth.

It is noteworthy that CSS exams are considered a significant opportunity for Pakistani youth, and the desire to join the civil service persists.
