Karachi: (RightNow) Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced the renaming of Regal Chowk to Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk. He made this announcement during a visit to Regal Chowk in the Saddar area of Karachi, accompanied by the Municipal Commissioner and City Council members.

He stated that arrangements for lighting and beautification will be made in Karachi on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Additionally, Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk will undergo reconstruction and beautification.

Murtaza Wahab further mentioned that the municipal corporation had made exemplary arrangements during Muharram and will provide excellent facilities to citizens during Rabi-ul-Awwal as well.

He added that all relevant departments will remain on high alert during the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Special arrangements are being made for the convenience of citizens.

It is noteworthy that various programs and events are held in Karachi during Rabi-ul-Awwal, which see significant participation from the public.
