Lahore: (RightNow) Water levels in various rivers of Punjab have risen, creating flood conditions at different locations. Significant increases have been observed in Nala Dek, Chenab, and Jhelum rivers.

According to Punjab sources, there has been an increase in water flow in rivers and streams. This has led to low to moderate flood situations in some areas.

At Kangra Bridge on Nala Dek, the water flow has reached 10,193 cusecs, recording a low-level flood.

At Head Marala on the Chenab River, the inflow is 110,355 cusecs and the outflow is 88,082 cusecs, maintaining a low-level flood situation.

It is noteworthy that at Mangla on the Jhelum River, the inflow has reached 133,000 cusecs, recording a moderate-level flood. Authorities have advised residents of low-lying areas to take precautionary measures.
