Kathmandu: (RightNow) Recent rains in Nepal have caused devastating floods, leading to significant damage. Two individuals were rescued alive from a hydropower tunnel after 9 days.

According to foreign media, a glacier burst triggered the flood in Nepal, causing harm to human lives and infrastructure. Thousands of people have been affected.

The rescue operation is ongoing, with hopes of finding more survivors in the Trishuli 3A tunnel. A Nepali parliament member has also commented on the situation.

The flood’s devastation trapped at least 900 people in hydropower project tunnels. This incident has proven dangerous for human lives.

It is noteworthy that the catastrophic floods in Nepal have resulted in 1,252 deaths and over 4,200 missing persons, while 21 people have died in Tibet.
