Mumbai: (RightNow) Indian actor Paresh Rawal has strongly criticized the media coverage of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He stated that the media turned the issue into a circus, which he found deeply distasteful.
During a podcast discussion, Paresh Rawal revealed that he stayed away from news channels during the COVID-19 lockdown. He mentioned that he avoided watching news due to his blood pressure concerns.
Regarding the media coverage of Sushant Singh’s death, the actor expressed his disdain for the circus-like portrayal. He clarified that the media unnecessarily exaggerated the matter.
The actor also explained his decision to leave politics. Despite his success in the 2014 elections, he feared the dishonesty in politics, choosing to focus on acting as his true identity.
