London: (Right Now News) Australian all-rounder Will Sutherland is out of the T20 Blast due to a shoulder injury. He was set to play for Yorkshire.

Will Sutherland played 3 County Championship matches and 12 Blast matches for Yorkshire last year. He also captains Victoria and Melbourne Renegades.

Team General Manager Gavin Hamilton stated that Sutherland had become a popular squad member. He was expected to return for two Championship matches and the entire Blast tournament this season.

However, according to ESPN Cricinfo, Sutherland suffered a stress fracture in his shoulder after the Sheffield Shield final. The club confirmed he will not be available this season.

It is noteworthy that Yorkshire County Cricket Club has announced Sutherland will not be part of the Blast team. Information about a replacement player will be provided soon.
