Lalit Modi alleges black magic by an IPL team owner, recalling a similar 2011 incident.
New Delhi: (Right Now News) Lalit Modi has alleged that an IPL team owner used black magic. He claims that in 2011, a team owner did the same in a rival team’s dressing room.
In the current season, a video went viral during the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings match. The video showed a spectator performing a strange act with a lemon, which was likened to black magic.
The spectator pointed towards Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batter Shivam Dube, who was bowled out moments later. This incident created a celebratory atmosphere in the stadium.
Former chairman Lalit Modi stated on social media that this is not the first time such an incident has occurred. According to him, the same act was repeated in the 2011 season.
It should be noted that controversies like these often arise in the IPL, raising questions about the transparency of the game.
