Islamabad: (Right Now News) Pakistan-China Institute Chairman Mushahid Hussain Syed and former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry have expressed optimism that the second round of Iran-US talks will be fruitful.

Mushahid Hussain Syed stated that if the talks succeed, President Trump will personally come to Islamabad to sign the agreement, and Vice President JD Vance will not be allowed to sign.

It was further mentioned that in case of successful talks, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian will also visit Pakistan. Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry also expressed hope for a successful outcome.

US President Donald Trump has prioritized Pakistan for the upcoming talks with Iran and praised Field Marshal General Asim Munir’s performance. He mentioned in a conversation with a New York Post reporter that Pakistan is a likely choice for the talks.

It is noteworthy that European countries have started planning to establish a broad coalition for maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
