Beijing: (Right Now News) Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of international law. He warned that neglecting it could lead the world back to the law of the jungle.

According to Xinhua News Agency, President Xi presented a four-point plan to promote peace and stability in the Middle East. The plan emphasizes peaceful coexistence, national sovereignty, adherence to international law, and a balanced strategy between development and security.

President Xi’s first proposal is to uphold the principle of peaceful coexistence, as Gulf states are close neighbors. He urged them to improve relations and build a cooperative, sustainable regional security framework.

The second proposal focuses on respecting national sovereignty, particularly for developing countries. It stresses the protection of citizens, facilities, and institutions.

The third proposal highlights the rule of international law, with the United Nations at its core. It calls for adherence to the international system and the principles of the UN Charter.

The fourth proposal advocates a balanced strategy between development and security, as security is the foundation of development and vice versa. Xi expressed China’s willingness to share modernization opportunities with Gulf countries and continue regional cooperation.

Chinese media reported that Xi emphasized peaceful coexistence during a meeting with the UAE Crown Prince in Beijing. He highlighted the importance of building a sustainable security system in the Middle East.

Xi stressed the need to uphold national sovereignty and advised Gulf countries to create a conducive environment for development. This statement was made to enhance cooperation among Asian countries. Xi believes that without international law, global imbalance could occur.

It is noteworthy that China is striving to increase its role in global politics by promoting stability and cooperation in the Middle East.
