Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan’s commitment to standing alongside Saudi Arabia in safeguarding its sovereignty and security. He extended congratulations to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saudi Arabia’s National Day.

The Prime Minister stated that Saudi Arabia’s development and prosperity continue under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s progress is a source of pride for Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif condemned the Houthi attacks, stating that threats to the sanctity and security of the Holy Mosques hurt the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.

The Prime Minister further mentioned that the historical brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are evolving into a strong strategic partnership. Both nations have signed defense agreements.

It is noteworthy that the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are based on mutual trust and shared values, which are expected to strengthen further in the future.
