Kalat: (RightNow) Security forces conducted an operation near National Highway N-25 in Kalat, killing 5 terrorists and rescuing 23 hostages.

According to ISPR, on the night of September 18 and 19, terrorists planned to set up a checkpoint on N-25 for kidnapping, extortion, and vehicle theft.

During the effective operation, security forces engaged in a firefight with the terrorists, killing them and seizing a large cache of weapons from their hideout.

This successful operation thwarted the terrorists’ plans, and 6 trucks, 3 buses, and 2 cars were also seized.

It is noteworthy that security forces in Kalat continue clearance operations to ensure the safety of local residents and national highways from terrorism.
