Gillespie expressed frustration over Aqib Javed’s negative remarks. He warned that if this continues, he will pursue legal action. He stated that witnessing the current state of Pakistan cricket is heartbreaking.
He described Pakistan cricket as trapped in a damaging cycle. Gillespie added that Aqib Javed’s appointment changed the landscape, leaving him with no role in selection matters.
Gillespie accused Aqib Javed of not accepting others’ opinions and trying to assert dominance. He praised Wasim and Waqar, calling them his heroes and expressing admiration and respect for them.
