Lahore: (RightNow) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has obtained mobile data of cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan in London. Following the defeat in the Lord’s Test, the investigation against them has been expanded.

The board may impose heavy fines and bans on both cricketers based on evidence. Their activities and communications are also being scrutinized.

Sources say the team’s security officer seized the players’ phones after the 194-run defeat at Lord’s Test. The phones were returned after several hours once the data was transferred.

It is clear that these players may not get the chance to represent Pakistan in the future. The cricket board’s spokesperson has declined to comment on the matter.

It is noteworthy that in recent months, the cricket board has been closely monitoring players’ activities to improve team performance.
