Ashley Noffke revealed that he received a message from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at 3:15 AM, informing him of his departure for the Test match against England.
He mentioned that the Edgbaston pitch currently has grass, but it is too early to say if it will remain throughout the match. Discussing team combinations, he said it is not possible to make final decisions before the toss.
Noffke shared that he learned from a journalist about investigations into matters unrelated to cricket involving players sent to Pakistan. He expressed hope that no issues would arise.
