According to Fars News Agency, explosions were heard in the Gulf, but no smoke was seen afterward. Nour News, citing local sources, reported that an Iranian tanker was targeted by a US missile.

Iranian website Asr Iran claimed that US forces fired 4 projectiles at the tanker. The report stated that cargo was being unloaded from the tanker at the time of the attack. No official statement has been made by Iran or the US yet.

The explosion reports come as US President Donald Trump recently made a controversial comment about Kharg Island on social media.

It is noteworthy that following Trump’s statement, Iranian officials announced they would respond forcefully to any attack on the island.
