Islamabad: (RightNow) Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with former Ugandan Prime Minister Olara Otunnu. They discussed global challenges and the multilateral system.

Pakistan reiterated its commitment to strengthening the multilateral system. Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of implementing international laws and UN Security Council resolutions.

He stressed the need for implementing resolutions related to Palestine and Jammu & Kashmir. He expressed hope for the next UN Secretary-General to address global challenges.

Olara Otunnu praised Pakistan’s role in UN peace missions. He commended Pakistani leadership’s diplomatic efforts for regional peace.

It is noteworthy that during the meeting, Uganda’s special envoy invited Ishaq Dar to visit Uganda.
