According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon winds are entering the upper regions. Western winds are also affecting these areas, increasing the intensity of the expected rainfall.
Due to the rain, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, and Galiyat are likely to experience rainfall from September 3 to 5. Rain is also expected in Kashmir from September 3 to 6.
The risk of urban flooding is rising in the low-lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Citizens are advised to remain cautious.
