Lahore bans unlicensed commercial vehicles to improve traffic safety and prevent accidents.
Lahore: (RightNow) Entry of unlicensed commercial vehicles is banned at Lahore’s entry points. The Chief Traffic Officer stated that checks have been intensified to prevent accidents.
According to the Chief Traffic Officer, entry of vehicles without fitness certificates and licenses is prohibited at city entry points. This measure aims to improve the traffic system.
Authorities have seized 108 trolleys carrying sand and gravel without tarpaulins. Additionally, action is being taken against 210 large vehicles lacking fitness certificates.
Cases have been registered against 16 drivers for operating heavy machinery without licenses. Officials are determined to handle this issue strictly.
It is noteworthy that these measures are being implemented for citizen safety and accident prevention. Officials believe this policy will aid in improving traffic flow.
