Rawalpindi: (RightNow) The investigation into Hina Javed’s murder in Rawalpindi’s Lal Kurti area is ongoing. The post-mortem report has been released, providing crucial information.
According to Dr. Maria Khalid, Hina Javed’s body was examined 12 hours after death. The report indicates a broken neck bone, with bruises found on the ribs and hip.
The initial report suggests the woman was allegedly strangled by her husband. Samples have been sent to the forensic lab for further investigation. Police have arrested the husband in this case.
The murder case has gained significance as the suspect, Professor Faisal Asghar, referenced spousal murders in his lectures. This has complicated the investigation further.
It is noteworthy that Hina Javed’s body was found in the home’s bathroom on August 20. A case was filed at the Civil Lines police station by the victim’s brother.
