Yemen: (RightNow) Saudi coalition forces have launched an attack on Yemen’s Hodeidah city. In response, the Houthis have announced a strong retaliatory action.

Saudi forces reported targeting Houthi military positions in the attack. However, the Hodeidah port was not targeted, and all ports remain open.

Saudi forces state the destruction of targets aims to address shipping threats in the Red Sea. Further responses will follow if Houthi aggression continues.

The Houthis claim to have attacked two Saudi oil tankers. Their TV channel, Al-Masirah, has released details of the attack.

It is noteworthy that the Houthis had declared a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia and targeted their oil tankers, escalating tensions.
