Karachi: (RightNow). The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has withdrawn its candidates in the Azad Kashmir elections in favor of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). This decision was announced by MQM leader Farooq Sattar.

Farooq Sattar stated in a media briefing that they have presented demands for constitutional amendments and the governorship of Sindh to the PML-N. He emphasized that the governorship of Sindh is MQM’s mandate and should be returned to them.

Sattar expressed optimism that the alliance between PML-N and MQM will ensure success in the Azad Kashmir elections. He mentioned that the coalition of both parties will bring a change in the political landscape.

This decision could significantly impact the political situation in Azad Kashmir, as MQM’s withdrawal from the electoral process may benefit PML-N.

It is noteworthy that MQM and PML-N have previously formed political alliances and have been part of joint government coalitions in the past.
