Sanaa: (RightNow) Saudi coalition forces have launched attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen’s Hodeidah governorate. These strikes aim to target Houthi military objectives, confirmed by coalition forces.

The coalition states that Hodeidah’s port was not targeted and all ports remain open for shipping. The purpose of these attacks is to reduce threats to commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

Saudi coalition forces warn of further retaliatory actions if Houthi aggression continues. These strikes are in response to attacks carried out by the Houthis.

Houthi media previously claimed Saudi attacks, including on Hodeidah and Kamaran Island, targeting telecommunications facilities.

It is noteworthy that the Houthis recently attacked two Saudi oil tankers, leading to their announcement of a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia in response to the Saudi siege.
