Trump claims China and Russia assure not to supply weapons to Iran, emphasizing their non-participation in the conflict.
Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump states that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have assured not to supply weapons to Iran. He mentioned that both countries have promised not to participate in the Iran conflict.
President Trump, in a statement on social media, said that if China or Russia supplied weapons to Iran, it would not be in their interest. According to him, China and Russia are not providing arms to Iran.
Trump further stated that Chinese President Xi Jinping assured that China would not supply weapons to Iran, and Chinese companies would also refrain from selling arms. Russian President Vladimir Putin made a similar promise.
According to Trump, Russia and China are currently not supplying arms to Iran, and he mentioned that it would not be in their own interest.
It is noteworthy that the U.S. does not directly sell weapons to Ukraine but provides arms to NATO countries, which pay for them.
