US strikes in Iran result in 55 deaths and 645 injuries, with Khuzestan, Hormozgan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces most affected.
Tehran: (RightNow) Iran’s Health Ministry reports that recent US strikes have killed 55 people and injured 645. These figures were released to Iran’s Fars News Agency.
The spokesperson stated that the highest casualties occurred in the provinces of Khuzestan, Hormozgan, and Sistan and Baluchestan. These provinces also reported the most deaths.
Out of the injured, 586 have been discharged after treatment, while some received external medical care. Eight patients remain hospitalized, requiring further surgery.
These strikes pose a significant threat to the Iranian public, with potential for escalating impact. The attacks have been widely condemned on an international level.
It is important to note that relations between Iran and the US are already strained, and these strikes may further increase tensions.
