After meeting military officers in Isfahan, he stated that the U.S. once saw itself as a pharaoh, but Iran has thwarted its ambitions. Iran maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz and is recognized as a respected nation internationally.
General Hatami praised the Iranian Air Force, noting that Iran has downed enemy F-15, F-16, and F-35 aircraft during conflicts.
Iran has no trust in the U.S., as Washington has never honored its commitments, the General added.
It is noteworthy that tensions between Iran and the U.S. have been escalating recently, increasing regional instability.
